Electrostatic presipitator

An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a highly efficient air pollution control technology that uses an induced electrostatic charge to remove solid particles, such as dust and other pollutants, from flue gas. ESPs are widely used in power plants, cement plants, steel mills, and other industrial facilities to reduce particulate matter emissions and other harmful pollutants. They are particularly effective in biomass-fired plants for thermal heat or electricity generation, where the flue gas typically contains high levels of particulate matter.
